Lukashenko wishes Merry Christmas to Eastern Orthodox Christians

MINSK, 7 January (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has wished Merry Christmas to Eastern Orthodox believers, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“For millions of Christians this holiday is a day of their purest thoughts; it evokes people’s best feelings: love for their neighbors, benevolence, and belief in the triumph of good. It strengthens family bonds and social accord,” the message reads.

Alexander Lukashenko wished fellow Belarusians to enjoy their time with family on this great holiday, to draw strength and courage to do good for other people, their homeland and the world peace.
