Lukashenko to visit Vitebsk Oblast

VITEBSK OBLAST, 15 May (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko is set to pay a working trip to Vitebsk Oblast on 15 May to take stock of the progress made in the development of integration structures in the agricultural sector of the region, BelTA has learned.

The head of state is expected to visit farming companies that make part of OAO Moloko. The Belarusian leader will be briefed on their performance, and also on the training of personnel for the agro-industrial sector of Vitebsk Oblast.

Issues on the agenda of the visit will also include the social and economic development of the region and springtime sowing.
