MINSK, 24 January (BelTA) – President of Belarus, President of the National Olympic Committee Alexander Lukashenko has sent his greetings to members of the Belarusian delegation sent to the 23^rd PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games, the press service of the Belarusian leader told BelTA.

The message reads: “Through hard fight you have won the honorary right to represent Belarus during the 23^rd Olympic Winter Games in the city of PyeongChang in 2018. The entire country will closely follow your performance, cheering for you and feeling with you.”

“I am convinced that you will do everything for the victory in South Korea. It will be difficult to accomplish in the face of extreme competition. But your Olympic accomplishments will be more precious that way. They will become the best contribution to raising a strong and healthy nation, to bolstering Belarus’ standing in the international scene, and an example for the younger generation,” noted the Belarusian leader.

Alexander Lukashenko wished luck, strong health, and victories in honor of the motherland to members of the Belarusian delegation.
