Lukashenko: Peace, and kind, industrious people are Belarus’ most valuable assetsMINSK, 24 December (BelTA) – Peace, and our kind and industrious people are the most valuable assets of Belarus, President Alexander Lukashenko said as he attended the New Year charity campaign Our Children on 24 December, BelTA has learned.

“The peace that we have preserved is our main asset, and kind and industrious Belarusian people are our true wealth,” the Belarusian leader noted. Such qualities of Belarusians become particularly evident at the most crucial moments in history, like it was in the outgoing year, Alexander Lukashenko stressed.

"This is great. This fits the best features of the Belarusian nation, and you are acquiring them," Alexander Lukashenko said. Every generation makes its invaluable contribution to this treasury, and the younger generation of Belarusians is expected to make its own,” the head of state stated.Lukashenko: Peace, and kind, industrious people are Belarus’ most valuable assets
