MINSK, 7 October (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko held a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin on 7 October, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
The Belarusian head of state extended birthday greetings to the Russian leader.
Aleksandr Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin discussed the most pressing issues and the agenda for the near future, as well as the schedule of upcoming contacts.
The leaders of Belarus and Russia are set to meet as part of the CIS Heads of State Council summit in Bishkek on 13 October. According to the agreements, Aleksandr Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin are expected to discuss in detail the issues on the agenda of the Belarusian-Russian relations.
