Lukashenko goes to Vietnam on a state visit

MINSK, 8 December (BelTA) - Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko went to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam 8 December, BelTA informs.

The program of the Belarus President’s visit to Vietnam includes negotiations with President Truong Tan Sang, General Secretary of the Communist Party Nguyen Phu Trong, and Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung on 8-9 December.

After that the Belarusian head of state will go to Turkmenistan where he will stay till 12 December. The program of the visit includes various meetings and events. Alexander Lukashenko will hold talks with Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, after which the sides will sign a number of international documents.

The Belarus President is expected to visit the Belarus-Turkmenistan fair, the Olympic Village. Alexander Lukashenko will also take part in the international conference “The policy of neutrality: the international community in the name of peace, security and development”.
