Lukashenko gives interview to Interstate TV and Radio Company Mir

MINSK, 6 April (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko gave an interview to the Interstate Television and Radio Company Mir on 6 April, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The open conversation focused on the integration on the post-Soviet space. The President shared his opinion about the further development of integration associations.

Alexander Lukashenko spoke about the current state and prospects of the Belarusian-Russian relations. In particular, he was asked about the development of the trade and economic cooperation, the joint strategic army exercise West 2017, the results of the recent meeting of the presidents of Belarus and Russia in St. Petersburg.

The head of state also answered a number of topical questions regarding the maintenance of security in the region and the war on terrorism in the world.

The Interstate Television and Radio Company Mir was founded in 1992 for the coverage of the political, economic, and humanitarian cooperation of the CIS member states, formation of the common information space and promotion of the international exchange of information. The TV and Radio Company Mir united TV channels Mir, Mir 24, Mir HD, Radio Mir, the information portal www.mir24.tv and the multi-purpose satellite system Mir-Teleport.

The Interstate Television and Radio Company Mir informs its audience about the modern life and history of the post-Soviet space. There is 24/7 broadcast in three time zones on the territory of 13 states (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia). The potential audience exceeds 130 million people.
