MINSK, 27 June (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended the Youth Day greetings to young Belarusians, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“Youth is the most wonderful time, full of hopes and grandiose plans. It is the time when you meet your first love, make true friends, choose your profession and moral values,” the head of state noted. “You were born and raised in the independent Belarus that was created and built as a state where people are strong in their wisdom and unity, are guided by the law and the principles of justice, value peace, respect history and experience of their ancestors,” he added.

The president stressed that the youth shapes the destiny of the nation: they devote their talents and energy for the good of their Motherland, crave knowledge and innovations, are ready to perfect any technical solutions, and are optimistic about the future.

“This is why numerous state-run programs aimed at improving education, supporting young families, encouraging talented young people have always been the best investment in the future of our beloved Belarus,” Aleksandr Lukashenko remarked.

The president wished young Belarusians to preserve their spirit and determination, decisiveness and enthusiasm to make their greatest dreams come true. “Be successful and happy in your native land,” the president said.
