Lukashenko: Decisions of Supreme State Council will promote Belarus-Russia integration

MOSCOW, 30 June (BelTA) – Decisions that will be made at the session of the Supreme State Council today should help promote the development of integration of Belarus and Russia, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said at the meeting with Russia President Vladimir Putin on 30 June, BelTA informs.

“We still have a long way to go. The main thing for us is import substitution. We must prove to the whole world that we are self-sufficient nations, self-sufficient states,” Alexander Lukashenko said. “I think that the decisions that will be made at the Supreme State Council session today will help promote the development of integration of our countries into the single Union State.”

This is an opportunity for specialists and chiefs at the regional level, to say nothing about us, to discuss development issues, and an opportunity to synchronize watches for us,” the Belarusian leader said.
