"Millennia pass, but the light of the great triumph once again brings hope into the homes of millions of people. It unites us by high aspirations to morality, helps strengthen the moral principles and promote social harmony,” says the message.
According to Alexander Lukashenko, the long-awaited holiday is not only a time of greetings and gifts. Christmas brings us to the timeless values of mercy and compassion, understanding and patience. It helps revive a good tradition of showing selfless concern for fellow beings, helping and supporting those who need love and compassion most of all.
"Let your hearts be filled with the exultant joy of Christmas, let your work be fruitful, and may families live in mutual respect and happiness," the President said.
