Dear friends!

My warmest congratulations on Belarusian Written Language Day. This holiday of the printed word is a celebration of our nation’s culture and spirituality. This year it is celebrated in the welcoming and history-rich city of Lida.

This landmark occasion calls us once again to reflect on our historical memory and ancestral traditions. It guides us back to the eternal values instilled in us from childhood through literature: kindness, a thirst for knowledge, respect for people and their labor, honesty, and love for the Fatherland.

I am confident that the responsible voice of our writers and your firm patriotic stance will continue to strengthen the unity of the Belarusian people and propel our nation’s development.

I extend my sincere wishes to everyone for good health, happiness, and fruitful creativity as we work together for the benefit of Belarus.
