Lukashenko: Belarus is proud of its national culture

MINSK, 7 October (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated Belarusian workers of culture on their professional holiday, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“Culture is the basis of distinctness and a source of spirituality of the nation. It embodies unique traditions of the Belarusian people. Its creative force unites the society, awakens the best and kindest thoughts and feelings,” the message of greetings reads.

The head of state also remarked that Belarus is proud of its national culture which is vigorously developing and acquiring world recognition. “Thanks to you bright talents are revealed and new achievements are made in culture every year, the President stressed. “You have an important humanistic and enlightenment mission. You help the younger generation develop the best moral and esthetic qualities and ideals, teach them to value beauty, respect the national heritage and be proud for the Homeland.
