MINSK, 25 January (BelTA) – Belarus is ready to consider new ideas and projects of foreign partners, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said as he accepted the credentials of foreign ambassadors on 25 January, BelTA has learned.
Addressing the diplomats, Alexander Lukashenko pointed out a number of aspects of the so-called economic diplomacy. “Belarus is interested in the expansion of trade and economic ties,” the Belarusian leader stressed. “Our government bodies and the business community are ready to consider new ideas, projects, and initiatives of yours.”
“We are focused on the enhancement of mutually beneficial contacts with traditional economic partners, and on the penetration of new markets for the diversification of our export and relations in general,” the President of Belarus remarked.
According to the Belarusian head of state, this is the pillar of the economic stability and higher living standards of people.
