Belarus' presidential inauguration to begin at noon on 25 March

MINSK, 24 March (BelTA) - The swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko will commence at 12 p.m. on 25 March, press secretary of the Belarusian head of state Natalya Eismont told BelTA.

Over 1,100 people will attend the ceremony.

The ceremony will be broadcast live on the website of the President of the Republic of Belarus, by the First News, Belarus 1, ONT, STV and MIR TV channels, videobel.by and BelTA’s YouTube channel.

Lukashenko’s inauguration motorcade to travel along Nezavisimosti Avenue, Pobeditelei Avenue

MINSK, 24 March (BelTA) – On 25 March, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko will travel along Nezavisimosti Avenue and Pobeditelei Avenue, two main avenues of Minsk, for the inauguration ceremony, Pul Pervogo Telegram channel reported, BelTA learned.

The motorcade will head off at 11.45. It will be flanked by a motorcycle-mounted escort.

As BelTA has reported, the ceremony of inauguration of newly elected President Aleksandr Lukashenko will start at noon on 25 March. More than 1,100 people are invited to the ceremony.
