MOSCOW, 26 August (BelTA) – Vladimir Dmitruk from Belarus was awarded the third prize and the Audience Choice Award at the Yelena Obraztsova International Competition of Young Opera Singers that took place in Saint Petersburg, BelTA learned from the press service of the competition.
The international jury comprised Fiorenza Cossotto (Italy), Eva Marton (Hungary), Tamara Sinyavskaya (Russia), Makvala Kasrashvili (Russia), Larisa Gergieva (Russia), Richard Bonynge (Australia), Richard Radzinsky (USA), Miguel Lerin (Spain), and others. The winner of the Audience Choice Award was chosen through an online vote and by the audience during the third round of the competition.
Another Belarus’ representative Alexander Roslovets was awarded a diploma.
The tenth edition of the Yelena Obraztsova International Competition of Young Opera Singers was held in Saint Petersburg on 18-25 August.
