MINSK, 19 December (BelTA) – Alena Leshkevich of Belarus clinched the world champion title among professional muaythai fighters in the weight category of -45kg, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Sports and Tourism Ministry.

The bout took place in Hong Kong against Candy Wu of China.

Head coach of the Belarusian national martial arts team Mikhail Stepanov said that Alena Leshkevich was confident and aggressive in taking the victory.

Earlier, Alena Leshkevich won the European champion title among amateurs.
