MINSK, 15 June (BelTA) – The Belarusian national team is in the top ten of the 1st European Games medal table in Baku, BelTA informs.
The recent gold (Alexander and Andrei Bogdanovich; C2 1000m) and bronze (Vitaly Belko and Roman Petrushenko; K2 100m) medals took Belarus’ overall medal haul to 5 – one gold, one silver and three bronze medals. It is ninth position in the medal table of the Baku Games. The medal table is topped by Azerbaijan (the host country) with 13 (6, 2, 5) medals. Second is Russia with 9 (6, 1, 2) medals. Turkey with 12 (4, 2, 6) goes third.
