U.S. Army donates respirators to Belarusian army medics

MINSK, 4 June (BelTA) – The U.S. Army has donated respirators and protective goggles to Belarusian army medics, BelTA learned from the Telegram channel of the Belarusian Defense Ministry.

On behalf of the United States European Command Charge d’Affaires of the USA in Belarus Jenifer Moore and Defense Attaché, Lieutenant Colonel Shawn Kyle donated 1,300 respirators and 200 protective goggles to the central hospital of Belarus’ Armed Forces.

Negotiations between Head of the International Military Cooperation Department, Major-General Oleg Voinov and the head of the U.S. diplomatic mission in Belarus took place during the ceremony. The sides discussed future cooperation in pandemic conditions and exchanged views on promising joint projects, the Belarusian Defense Ministry noted.
