Project name: "With Sports to the Future!"
Implementation period: Two years
Applicant: Zelva District Health Camp Golubaya Volna [Blue Wave], Education Department of the Zelva District Executive Committee
Project objectives: To encourage students to take interest in sport and their own health; to improve the sports infrastructure of the health camp to make sports and recreation work more efficient
Camp brief:
Every summer the camp enrolls more than 800 children from different regions of the Republic of Belarus for health rehabilitation. Sports, creative and intellectual events are organized daily. In the off-season, the camp hosts competitions and tourist events. The camp is located near the Zelva reservoir which is a favorite spot of lovers of fishing, cycling and hiking. The camp can be used as accommodation for tourist groups and outdoor enthusiasts.
Project activities:
- infrastructure work;
- landscaping the territory adjacent to the camp;
- organizing various events to involve students in the health-improving activities, to drum up the interest of the local population and visitors to Zelva District in sports.
Target group: Zelva District Health Camp Blue Wave, school students , local population, visitors to Zelva District.
Brief description:
1. Zoning: a court for volleyball and basketball, a gymnastic complex, a spectator area, and children's sports zone
2. Purchasing of outdoor sports equipment for the equipment of zones.
