Project name: Preservation and modernization. Overhaul of the administrative building of the Shklov District social services center (a monument of historical and cultural value)

Project objectives:
Preservation of the cultural and historical heritage, improvement of social services for the residents of Shklov and Shklov District.
Project goals:
To restore the historical and cultural building;
To improve the provision of social services;
To develop social services for persons with disabilities and elderly people by creating a barrier-free environment.
Description of the project activities:
To repair the facade and the roof of the building, replace windows and doors to preserve the historical look;
To dismantle the chimney;
To repair the interior engineering systems and constructions (division walls, ceilings, staircases);
To restore the interior of the building;
To replace the heating, ventilation, plumbing and sewage systems;
To install a lifting platform for people with disabilities.
Target group: Persons with disabilities and elderly people attending the daycare
Project rationale:
The implementation of the project will stop the decay of the historical and cultural building, preserve the historical look of the building. The creation of a barrier-free environment will make social services accessible for the elderly and disabled people.
Post-project activities
The project aims to expand the list of social services for elderly citizens and persons with disabilities, adapt more services for persons with disabilities, and increase the number of activities available for persons with disabilities.
