Team Belarus outfit for 2nd European Games presented in Minsk

MINSK, 13 June (BelTA) – The Team Belarus outfit for the 2nd European Games was presented at the National Olympic Committee of Belarus in Minsk on 13 June, BelTA has learned.

Team Belarus outfits have been designed by the Pinsk company and consist of 18 items.

The collection got the name Prastora. Its design focuses on traditional ornaments and symbols of Belarus. One of them is a fern flower. The outfit collection is stylistically linked with the logo of the 2nd European Games.

The National Olympic Committee also hosted a presentation of Yulia Latushkina’s volunteers uniform and Team Belarus outfits for the opening and closing ceremonies, podium ceremonies. The design is a combination of three colors: white, blue and grey. The main pattern of the uniform is a stylized cornflower which beautifies Belarusian national towels. 

The designers took into account the climatic conditions of the country, athletic parameters of the athletes and modern fashion trends.

Minsk will host the 2nd European Games on 21-30 June. Over 4,000 athletes from 50 countries will compete in 200 medal events in 15 sports.

Tickets for the European Games are available at www.minsk2019.ticketpro.by, in the box offices of the official ticket operator Ticketpro and in more than 300 sales points in all the oblast centers and big regional centers. Tickets can be bought through a noncash settlement. For this it is necessary to fill in an application, providing a phone number and an e-mail address and submit it to minsk2019@ticketpro.by or by fax 8-017-392-67-70.
