Over 130,000 tickets sold for Minsk European Games

MINSK, 5 June (BelTA) – About 130,000 tickets have been sold for the 2nd European Games. Foreign buyers accounted for 10-15% of the tickets sold, BelTA learned from Natalya Novik, a leading marketing expert at the Minsk European Games Organizing Committee (MEGOC).

The most active buyers are Russians. Minsk also expects visitors from the Middle East, Asia, North America, Africa and Australia.

Tickets for the European Games are available at www.minsk2019.ticketpro.by, in the box offices of the official ticket operator Ticketpro and in more than 300 sales points in all the oblast centers and big regional centers.

MEGOC has released a video on how to buy tickets for different competitions. Fans will spend minimum time on acquiring tickets for competitions.

Tickets can be bought through a noncash transaction. For this it is necessary to fill in an application, providing a phone number and fax and submit it to minsk2019@ticketpro.by or by fax 8-017-392-67-70.

Tickets can also be bought through the official travel agencies of the 2nd European Games: www.lcc-vsglobal.com и www.otpusk.by. The travel agents will help visitors with booking, ticketing, transport, accommodation and entertainment in Minsk and the Belarusian regions.

Ticket boxes will be available at every sports arena of the forthcoming multi-sport forum.

The 2nd European Games will be held in Minsk on 21-30 June. The opening ceremony which is due at Dinamo Stadium on 21 June will feature outstanding opera singer Anna Netrebko and Dimash Kudaibergen who has numerous fans from China to the UK.

First medal events of the 2nd European Games will be held on 22 June in acrobatics, cycling, rhythmic gymnastics, judo, sambo, archery and shooting.
