MINSK, 21 June (BelTA) – The 2nd European Games events are among the most exciting tournaments this season, Ukrainian athlete Yuriy Havelko said during the archery event on 21 June, BelTA has learned.

“I have had a very busy season, and the tournament at the 2nd European Games is one of the most important in my schedule. This is one of the most interesting and anticipated events. It was difficult to shoot today because of the wind, but I am still satisfied with my result,” Yuriy Havelko said.

Chief coach of the Russian archery team Stanislav Zabrodski said that the games have been organized well. According to him, the Athletes’ Village and the sport venues have been fully ready to host the games. “Belarus has organized everything perfectly. What is more important is that we feel at home thanks to Belarusian hospitality. We would also like to note the delicious cuisine,” he noted.
