MINSK, 1 February (BelTA) – During the 2nd European Games, Minsk metro will adjust the schedule to reduce the interval between trains, Minsk metro Director Vladimir Sotnikov said as he attended a session of the working group on Minsk maintenance and development, BelTA has learned.

Minsk metro also plans to change the system of spatial orientation at several stations. Minsk metro security gets a lot of attention too.

“We have drawn up separate schedules with smaller intervals for every event. We cooperate with the Belarusian Association of Transport Experts and Surveyors to design a system of technical spatial orientation means for passengers. After the system is approved by the architecture and city planning committee of the Minsk City Hall, we will introduce it at several stations.
