MEGOC: 2019 European Games tickets in high demand

MINSK, 19 December (BelTA) – Tickets for the 2nd European Games are in high demand, head of the marketing and advertising department of the Minsk European Games Organizing Committee (MEGOC) Maksim Koshkalda told the media on 19 December, BelTA has learned.

In his words, tickets for certain sports enjoy great popularity. “Fans have been actively buying tickets for rhythmic gymnastics, beach soccer, athletics, cycling and sambo competitions. The demand for judo events is strong as well. Other sports also attract interest. The tickets for the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2nd European Games are in demand. I would like to note that the pace of ticket sale since its launch in early December has been quite high,” Maksim Koshkalda said.

Tickets for the European Games due in June 2019 went on sale in the box offices of Ticketpro, the partner company of MEGOC. The first to buy the ticket was Lesik the Fox, the mascot of the 2nd European Games. He purchased the colorful tickets for the opening ceremony.

As was reported earlier, residents of any country can purchase tickets through the website www.minsk2019.ticketpro.by starting from 1 December 2018. In Belarus, tickets are also available in the box offices of the Ticketpro official ticket operator, and in Europe at official resellers. In the Russian Federation, tickets went on sale on 15 December 2018 on the official ticket agent www.ponominalu.ru. The cheapest ticket costs Br5 or €2 (for foreign citizens). The most expensive ticket is Br50 or €20. Tickets for the opening ceremony range from Br150 to Br300. The prices for the closing ceremony tickets are lower, from Br70 to Br150.
