Second European Games in Belarus

Cultural program of 2nd European Games Minsk 2019 discussed

MINSK, 17 April (BelTA) – A session of the republican organizing committee in charge of preparations for the 2nd European Games Minsk 2019 has been held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister of Belarus Sergei Rumas, the press service of the Belarusian government told BelTA.

Participants of the session discussed progress in preparing the facility to offer catering services to participants of the 2nd European Games in the Athletes’ Village. Reports on the readiness of the national Olympic stadium Dinamo to host the games, on Minsk beatification, on repairs of roads, sidewalks, and the renovation of buildings were also presented.

Apart from that, the session also touched upon the involvement of stewards in the games as well as the cultural program of the 2nd European Games Minsk 2019.

The 2nd European Games will take place in Minsk on 21-30 June 2019. Over 4,000 athletes from 50 countries will compete in 199 medal events in 15 sports.
