MINSK, 8 December (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Serbia Valery Brylev met with Serbian Minister of the Interior Aleksandar Vulin on 7 December, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.

During the meeting prospects of advancing Belarus-Serbia cooperation in law enforcement and in the prevention of emergencies were discussed.

Taking into account the successful implementation of the first project to jointly make 33 fire trucks based on MAZ chassis in Belgrade in 2018-2019 for the emergencies sector of the Serbian Ministry of the Interior, the Belarusian side suggested starting the joint production of two new fire truck models based on MAZ chassis. The models are specifically designed to be used in Serbian cities.

Apart from that, Aleksandar Vulin thanked Belarus for support in matters of Serbia’s territorial integrity, including support provided within the framework of the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol).
