The Dana Mall complex was opened as part of the official visit of the Serbian government delegation. Andrei Kobyakov said: “My Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vucic and I have had constructive and meaningful talks practically on all cooperation matters. The negotiations proceeded in a very sincere and constructive environment. We were satisfied with our friendly time-tried ties between the Belarusian and Serbian nations. They have become a solid foundation for bilateral relations.”

For instance, two major Serbian investment projects — Mayak Minsk and Minsk World — are being successfully implemented in Belarus. The Dana Holdings group of companies, which is implementing these projects, has worked in Belarus since 1997 and has become one of the largest civil engineering companies in Minsk since them. The Mayak Minsk project with the total area of 1 million m2 is nearing completion.

In turn, Aleksandar Vucic thanked Belarusian engineers and construction workers as well as all the people involved in building the complex and invited Belarusian investors to come to Serbia.

Dragomir Karic, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Dana Holdings group of companies, remarked that Dana Mall is a state-of-the-art shopping complex where Belarusian and Serbian companies will be represented in addition to the world’s leading brands that have not been available in Belarus up till now. “This project will benefit both Belarus and Serbia,” he said.
