“We are ready to participate in privatization programs in Belarus. We invite the parties interested in this,” said Mateusz Morawiecki. He noted that the interest of the Polish business to Belarus has increased noticeably.

According to him, Belarus and Poland would like to raise the relations to a new level. “Willingness to solve problems is very important. This willingness was obvious at the high-level meetings in Minsk today,” he stated.

Mateusz Morawiecki said that there were difficult times in the history of both countries. “Today we should to ‘forge’ this into a joint success and further development,” he said.

Belarus and Poland discussed the cooperation across more than 10 avenues and signed a joint protocol after the meeting of the commission on economic cooperation. Consideration was given to the cooperation in trade, energy, construction, transport, and tourism. The parties expect an increase in mutual tourist flows. Belarus has already opened Belovezhskaya Pushcha for visa-free visits. A similar regime will soon be launched for visitors to Augustow Canal.
