BISHKEK, 20 January (BelTA – Kabar) – Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ trademark) has plans to set up a trading house in Kyrgyzstan, said MTZ Director General Fyodor Domotenko, BelTA has learned.
Kyrgyzstani First Vice Premier Aaly Karashev met with a delegation from Belarus led by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Kyrgyzstan Viktor Denisenko. “We are happy to welcome you in our country and are ready to develop cooperation in agriculture, manufacturing industry, and other areas, especially after our accession to the Eurasian Economic Union,” Aaly Karashev noted.
For his part, Viktor Denisenko expressed hope that the cooperation between Belarus and Kyrgyzstan will further advance. “We hope that Belarusian products will be popular with Kyrgyzstani people. We are currently in talks with Aiyl Bank on the possibility of leasing Belarus-made vehicles to local farmers,” he noted.
MTZ Director General Fyodor Domotenko said that the company has plans to set up a trading house in Kyrgyzstan. “Our enterprises are ready to supply any kinds of machinery, including special-purpose vehicles. At present we cooperate with more than 70 countries. We are eager to establish close ties with Kyrgyzstan,” he stressed.
Fyodor Domotenko added that Belarusian enterprises can supply not only agricultural machines, but also manufacturing equipment, passenger and utility vehicles.
