MINSK, 7 July (BelTA) – The business climate of the Belarusian capital is one of the best in the CIS and very favorable against other countries, Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he met with top officials and executives of the city of Minsk on 7 July, BelTA has learned.
The head of state noted that the Financial Times placed Minsk fourth in terms of cost effectiveness on its European Cities and Regions of the Future 2018/19 ranking. The Independent named the Belarusian capital a must-visit European destination for 2019.
“The city's growing economy, economic support measures contribute to the emergence of 5,000 new business entities every year. The city’s major industries are engineering, electrical, pharmaceutical and food industries” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
