Minsk, Minsk Oblast to host Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia on 25-26 June

MINSK, 24 June (BelTA) – Minsk and Minsk Oblast will become centers of Union State integration on 25-26 June as the 13th Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia takes place on these days, BelTA has learned.

Panel sessions of the forum are scheduled for the first day, 25 June. On the second day the heads of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus and the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation will meet with heads of state administration bodies of Belarus’ regions and the constituent entities of the Russian Federation. The plenary session of the forum will also take place on that day.

A massive exhibition and fair of Belarusian and Russian manufacturers, local artisans, and major industrial holdings (MAZ, MTZ, Bellegprom, Integral) will become an important part of the program. The exhibition will take place at premises of the Minsk International Exhibition Center BelExpo.

Everyone will be able to visit the exposition at the site of the exhibition center on 27 June thanks to free admission. The Belarusian part will be represented by all the oblasts and the city of Minsk. The largest representatives of manufacturing sector, science, agriculture, and food, industrial holdings and associations, plants and factories, private manufacturers, and specialized manufacturing facilities will take part in it. Interactive presentations, master classes, and tastings also await visitors.

Over the years the Forum of Regions has acquired the status of a traditional dialogue platform for representatives of government bodies and business communities of the two states. Parliamentarians and experts note that the number and quality of contract ties will reach a fundamentally new level in 2026.

To ensure maximum comfort for participants and guests of the key Union State event of the year temporary express public transport routes will be organized in Minsk on 25 and 27 June. Buses will connect key metro stations with the exhibition center site where the main events will take place and the massive exhibition and fair will unfold. Thus, on 25 and 27 June bus No.912E will operate along the route “Akademiya Nauk Metro Station – International Exhibition Center” and bus No.962E will operate along the route “Pushkinskaya Metro Station – International Exhibition Center”. Public transport will run every 60 minutes from 10:00 to 11:00 and every 30 minutes from 11:00 to 19:00.

The organizers of the Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia are the Council of the Republic and the Federation Council.
