Lukashenko instructs local city administration to keep focus on Amkodor

MINSK, 17 April (BelTA) - While unveiling new appointments on 17 April, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko instructed to streamline operations at the Amkodor company and to help it grow, BelTA learned.

While approving the appointment of Deputy Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions Aleksandr Shchekovich to the post of head of the Administration of Sovetsky District of Minsk, the president instructed him to pay special attention to Amkodor (one of the production facilities based in the district).

“I will be very much waiting for your active contribution. We have big problems with Amkodor,” Aleksandr Lukashenko emphasized.

“In general,” Head of the Belarus President Administration Dmitry Krutoi specified.

“So we have to streamline operations at this enterprise. In any case the company should keep going forward. Amkodor is a very promising enterprise for us and for Russia. It is very important in our common market,” the Belarusian leader said. “So get involved.”
