Lukashenko calls for closer industrial cooperation within “Shanghai family”

TIANJIN, 1 September (BelTA) – It is necessary to deepen industrial cooperation within the “Shanghai family”, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said at the meeting of the SCO Council of Heads of State in the SCO Plus format, BelTA has learned.

“We propose launching joint production ventures, sharing advanced technologies, and expanding cooperation in sectors like mechanical engineering, agricultural machinery, transport, healthcare, robotics, and artificial intelligence,” said Aleksandr Lukashenko.

He once again thanked China for its enormous assistance in developing these promising areas.

“We propose launching shared tech platforms, research centers, and educational exchanges across the SCO,” the head of state said.
