Iran plans to buy more Belarusian products

MINSK, 1 March (BelTA) – Iran is ready to buy as many Belarusian products as possible, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Iran to Belarus Mohammad Reza Sabouri told BelTA.

According to the diplomat, Belarus produces a lot of various and good products which can be popular in Iran. “Unfortunately, we lack a good presentation of Belarusian goods and services in Iran. For instance, it can be done at exhibitions that are regularly held in Tehran and other cities,” the Ambassador said.

“It is clear that sometimes there is no opportunity to bring your products to another country for presentation. However, today, taking into account the developing information technologies the product can be advertised with the help of catalogues, websites and electronic presentations,” he said.

The diplomat views insufficient activity of Belarusian businessmen in cooperation with Iran as a problem which can and should be addressed. “If there are few contacts between businessmen of the two states, they know little about each other. Therefore we need more such contacts for further development of cooperation,” said Mohammad Reza Sabouri.
