Five cooperation agreements signed during Vitebsk economic forum

VITEBSK, 16 May (BelTA) – Five documents on cooperation were signed during the eighth international economic forum Innovations. Investments. Prospects in Vitebsk on 16 May, BelTA has learned.

With a view to bolstering mutually beneficial cooperation the Vitebsk Oblast administration and the government of Russia’s Saratov Oblast signed a roadmap on trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian cooperation in 2019-2021. An agreement on cooperation was signed by heads of government agencies of Ukrainian Chuguyev and the Vitebsk District administration. Representatives of the Chinese city of Fuzhou and the Polotsk District administration signed a protocol of intent to establish friendly relations. A memorandum of understanding was signed by the Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov and the Allama Iqbal Open University (Pakistan). The foundation for developing international business ties Accord based on Tula, Russia and the Vitebsk Oblast Marketing center signed a partnership agreement on mutual cooperation.

A ceremony to honor talented young scientists and specialists, who develop and assimilate innovative programs, and enterprises that actively embrace innovative technologies as part of the manufacturing process took place as part of the forum.

As many as 85 delegations from 22 countries are taking part in the eighth international economic forum Innovations. Investments. Prospects in Vitebsk. Over the course of two days Vitebsk Oblast districts are expected to sign cooperation agreements with foreign regions. The program also features exhibitions, demos, a business matchmaking session, a professional skills contest WorldSkills, and a conference on the role of the education system in innovative products. Participants of the forum are expected to visit enterprises and places in the region. For the first time a pavilion has been opened for foreign regions to present the best companies and their goods, services, and projects. Food products, which are made by Vitebsk Oblast companies and enjoy unwavering demand abroad, are on a separate display.
