Belaruskali reports record-high fertilizer shipment, export figures in June

MINSK, 9 July (BelTA) – In June 2020 OAO Belaruskali set a new record in shipping and exporting fertilizers, BelTA has learned.

In June 2020 the company extracted 5,004,057 tonnes of ore, thus setting a new absolute record. The gross output of potassium chloride amounted to 1,142,293 tonnes. The company shipped to customers 1,123,831 tonnes of fertilizers – the highest figure on record.

The company also exported 1,069,600 tonnes of potash fertilizers, 16.9% up on June 2019 and 0.5% up on the previous record high, which was registered in August 2019.

Moreover, export shipments in Q2 2020 exceeded those in Q2 2019 and were above the previous record high, which was registered in Q1 2019.
