MINSK, 19 November (BelTA) – The Belarusian automobile manufacturer MAZ will make another 55 buses of the MAZ 203 model that are powered by environmentally friendly gas engine fuel for the city of Krasnoyarsk, the company’s press service told BelTA.
The delivery of the vehicles to the capital city of Krasnoyarsk Territory, Russian Federation will be finished by 1 April 2026.
According to the source, the Belarusian automobile manufacturer has won the tender to supply buses thanks to a leasing scheme, in which the interest rate is subsidized in accordance with presidential decree No.466 on stimulating the export of Belarusian goods.
The Russian city of Krasnoyarsk has already received a batch of vehicles made by MAZ. They are used on a number of public transport lines. There are plans to ship a total of 150 buses like that to Krasnoyarsk till the end of 2025 and another 55 till April 2026.
