MOSCOW, 6 April (BelTA) – A Belarusian maintenance center will open in Bangladesh in the near future, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Bangladesh to Russia with concurrent accreditation to Belarus Saiful Hoque told reporters on 6 April.
The diplomat noted that not long ago Bangladesh bought $50 million worth of Belarusian road-building machinery. The country also plans to purchase MAZ vehicles and other Belarusian-made equipment. Saiful Hoque pointed out that the relations between Belarus and Bangladesh have been bolstered considerably over the past five years. He added that the upcoming opening of the Belarusian maintenance center is a big achievement.
Saiful Hoque invited Belarusian investors and specialists to take part in the construction of a new resort area in an undeveloped part of the Bay of Bengal.
The diplomat said he sees great prospects for cooperation in tourism. “Belarus is a wonderful country with many attractions telling about the heroic past of the Belarusian people,” Saiful Hoque noted.
