Belarus, Vietnam show interest in new joint ventures

MINSK, 21 December (BelTA) – Belarus and Vietnam are interested in setting up new joint ventures and further developing the existing ones. The matter was discussed at a meeting between Belarus’ Economy Minister Dmitry Krutoi and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to Belarus Pham Hai, BelTA learned from the website of the Belarusian Economy Ministry.

Dmitry Krutoi and Pham Hai discussed issues of trade, economic and investment cooperation between the two countries, the need to implement the potential for boosting mutual trade and investment. The parties also emphasized the importance of using every advantage of the free trade agreement between the EAEU member states and Vietnam. The document was signed in 2015.

The parties agreed to continue constructive dialogue on the most important issues of bilateral cooperation.
