Belarus, Venezuela discuss cooperation in mining industry

MINSK, 19 March (BelTA) - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Venezuela Andrei Molchan participated in the second international specialized industrial exhibition Expo Metal 2025 in Puerto Ordaz, Bolívar State of Venezuela on 17-18 March, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

On the sidelines of the exhibition, the ambassador met with Venezuela’s Minister of Industry and National Production Alex Saab. The meeting touched upon the current state and prospects for the development of mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation.

The ambassador also met with Venezuela’s Minister of the People's Power of Ecological Mining Development Héctor Silva. Special attention was paid to enhancing trade and economic relations between the two countries in the mining industry.
