MINSK, 17 September (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and concurrently to the Kingdom of Thailand Valery Sadokho and President of Thailand's National Legislative Assembly Pornpetch Wichitcholchai discussed ways to step up the bilateral trade and economic cooperation, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The meeting took place in Bangkok on 17 September. The parties also talked over the matters of strengthening inter-parliamentary ties. Apart from that, Valery Sadokho and Pornpetch Wichitcholchai exchanged views on the prospects of establishing offices of honorary consuls in Minsk and Bangkok.
