MINSK, 18 November (BelTA) – An action plan for the promotion of cooperation between Belarus and Russia’s Rostov Oblast for 2026-2028 was signed during a meeting of the working group on cooperation between Belarus and Russia’s Rostov Oblast, BelTA has learned.
The parties signed the protocol of the 14th meeting of the working group on cooperation between Belarus and Rostov Oblast. The document was signed by First Deputy Chairman of the Grodno Oblast Executive Committee Yuri Valevaty, and by Governor of Russia’s Rostov Oblast Yury Slyusar.
The parties finalized the action plan for the promotion of cooperation between Belarus and Russia’s Rostov Oblast for 2026-2028.
A ceremony was held to sign an agreement on the establishment of sister-city relations between Bykhov District of Mogilev Oblast, and Tsimlyansk District of Rostov Oblast. The document was signed by Chairman of the Bykhov District Executive Committee Aleksandr Kiselyov, and Head of the Tsimlyansk District Administration Yelena Nochevkina.


In addition, OAO Vitebsk Carpets and OOO KamenskKhimvolokno concluded a cooperation agreement. The document was signed by Director General of OAO Vitebsk Carpets Artem Lokhankin, and Director of OOO KamenskKhimvolokno Yelena Karpenko.
Furthermore, First Deputy Director General – Chief Engineer of OAO SvetlogorskKhimvolokno Vasily Vovk, and Director of OOO KamenskKhimvolokno Yelena Karpenko signed an agreement on cooperation in the development of pumping equipment.
Another cooperation agreement reached was between OAO BMZ, the Management Company of the holding company Belarusian Metallurgical Company (BMC) and AO Volgodonsk Plant of Metallurgical and Power Equipment (VZMEO). The document was signed by Aleksandr Borikov, Deputy Director General for Commerce of OAO BMZ, the Management Company of the holding company BMC, and Konstantin Sakirko, Director for Commerce – Deputy Director General of AO VZMEO.
The ceremony concluded with an exchange of gifts between the parties.
