Belarus ready to satisfy Khabarovsk Krai’s demand for special-purpose vehicles

MOSCOW, 18 June (BelTA) – Belarus is ready to satisfy the demand of Russia’s Khabarovsk Krai for mine dump trucks and other special-purpose vehicles designed for mining industry, power engineering, construction, and wood processing, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia Igor Petrishenko said as he met with Khabarovsk Krai Governor Vyacheslav Shport during the 19th Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Embassy in Russia.

The parties discussed a number of priority areas of Belarus-Khabarovsk Krai cooperation with the aim to fully tap into the potential of the bilateral relations. Vyacheslav Shport noted that Belarusian farm machines have already proved themselves to be of high quality. For example, Amur-Palesse caterpillar harvesters are very popular with Khabarovsk Krai farmers.

Representatives of Belarusian enterprises will have an opportunity to discuss promising cooperation areas with their Khabarovsk Krai colleagues during the Second Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia to be held in Novgorod from 17 till 18 September.

Igor Petrishenko attended the opening ceremony of the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Business Forum of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and sessions EEU-EU Development Prospects and EEU in Global World.
