MINSK, 21 March (BelTA) - The opportunities of trade, economic and investment cooperation with Belarus were presented at a business forum in Toledo (Spain), BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in Spain.

The business forum was attended by more than 30 Spanish companies that specialize in mechanical engineering, power engineering, consulting services, light and food industry, pharmaceutics.

During the forum, Ambassador of Belarus to France and concurrently to Spain Pavel Latushko made a presentation of the opportunities of cooperation with Belarus in trade, economy and investment, the terms and advantages of investing in the country given Belarus’ membership in the Eurasian Economic Union. The Vitebsk Office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry laid out the industrial and investment opportunities available in the region, in particular in logistics, glass fiber production, flax processing.

Bilateral talks were held with representatives of Spanish companies.

The forum “Business Opportunities in Belarus” was organized by the Embassy of Belarus in Spain, Vitebsk Office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI), BelCCI representative in Spain, the Toledo Chamber of Commerce and the Entrepreneurship Federation of the Autonomous Community of Castilla-La Mancha.
