ASTANA, 5 November (BelTA) - Contracts and agreements worth $160 million were signed during the visit of the Belarusian government delegation to Kazakhstan, BelTA ha learned.
Belarusian enterprises such as MTZ, AMKODOR, Gomselmash, Bobruiskagromash, Minsk Motor Plant, and MZKT were among the companies that signed documents on cooperative partnerships and machinery supplies with Kazakh partners. The signing ceremony took place during a meeting of the Kazakh-Belarusian Business Council.
In the presence of the prime ministers of Belarus and Kazakhstan, a memorandum was signed between the Akimat of the Almaty Region of Kazakhstan and the Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee on cooperation in trade, economy, science, technology, cultural, and humanitarian affairs. The Minsk City Executive Committee and the Astana Akimat inked an action plan (roadmap) on trade, economic, scientific, technical, and cultural cooperation for 2026-2028. Another document was an action plan (roadmap) for the development of industrial cooperation between the Industry Ministry of Belarus and the Ministry of Industry and Construction of Kazakhstan for 2026-2028.
