MINSK, 19 November (BelTA) – A delegation of enterprises affiliated with the Belarusian Industry Ministry, together with the partner company Quantum Dynamics, has visited Burkina Faso as part of a trip to countries of the Sahel region in West Africa, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Industry Ministry.
Meetings were held in key government institutions, and expert negotiations took place with representatives of the business community. The delegation was received by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Burkina Faso Karamoko Traoré, Secretary General of the Presidency of Faso Zakaria Soré, and Secretary General of the Ministry of Agriculture Gaoussou Sanou.
“The parties stressed a strong interest in enhancing cooperation, emphasizing significant potential for boosting foreign trade operations, primarily in the supply of tractor, automotive, and mining machinery. Particular attention was paid to opportunities for localization and service maintenance,” the press service said.

Meetings were also held with representatives of the country's largest banks, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Burkina Faso, and the National Investment Agency.
According to the press service, in recent years, the countries of the Sahel region – Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger – have demonstrated steady economic growth and increased interest in industrial and technological cooperation. Belarus offers comprehensive solutions, including the supply of machinery, the establishment of assembly plants, service centers, and personnel training programs. The visit aims to strengthen economic ties and diversify export markets.
The Belarusian delegation will continue its work in Niger, where it will hold similar negotiations with representatives of the governments and business communities of these countries.
