Belarus, Egypt consider resuming assembly of Belarusian agricultural machines

 MINSK, 13 June (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Egypt Sergei Terentyev met with First Deputy Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade of Egypt, Head of the Egyptian Commercial Service Abdelaziz Al-Sherif on 13 June, representatives of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.

The parties reviewed progress in preparations for holding the eighth session of the Belarus-Egypt trade commission in Minsk as well as for signing a roadmap on advancing trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Egypt.

Attention was mostly focused on manufacturing cooperation in line with the agreements reached by the heads of government of Belarus and Egypt in April 2024, including the resumption of the operation of the facilities that assemble Belarusian agricultural machines and vehicles in Egypt.
