MINSK, 22 March (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Egypt on concurrent accreditation to Algeria Sergei Rachkov met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Algeria Ramtane Lamamra on 22 March, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The parties discussed current issues of the Belarusian-Algerian relations and praised the practice of holding bilateral political consultations. The parties expressed the interest of the two countries in the development of trade, economic and sci-tech cooperation.

The parties agreed to exchange visits of delegations to discuss the issues of cooperation in industry, agriculture, healthcare and education.

Belarus’ Ambassador Sergei Rachkov presented the copies of the credentials to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Algeria.
