MINSK, 11 January (BelTA) – Belarus is in talks with several countries over visa-free regime, Belarus’ Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei told the media following the meeting with the president on 11 January, BelTA has learned.
“This work continues. At the meeting the head of state asked to intensify this process. I think that we can expect the conclusion of new agreements in the future. In any case, such negotiations are in progress with a number of countries,” Vladimir Makei noted.
The minister noted that Belarus has concluded agreements on visa-free trips for holders of national passports with more than 40 countries. Holders of service and diplomatic passports can visit more states without visas.
